Bats, Rats and Woodlice community artwork being put up in Hay Castle with curator Mari Fforde.

As part of the ‘Wild Escape’ a project by Artfund. Hay Castle commissioned the GTP to do 3 days of free open access workshops, getting people to create bats, rats and woodlice to add on to a giant community artwork that was unveiled to the public on Earth day.

During the workshops we talked about folklore, myth, legend, the environment and all of the colloquial names for woodlouse (chuggy pig, roly poly, mochyn coed, bibble bug and many more).
